ENTERING the implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) Emergency earlier this month, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy appreciated GoFood’s efforts in providing safe and comfortable services to consumers in the midst of a pandemic by implementing strict health protocols.
According to the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno said GoFood and Tourism Ministry provided thousands of partners with culinary sales strategies, including the importance of implementing strict health protocols which are increasingly needed to maintain customer trust.
“Through this program, GoFood confirms its commitment as a food delivery service that continues to be a growth partner for culinary Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) partners. GoFood’s efforts to provide advice and education on strict health protocols for business partners are also in line with the Health, Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environment Sustainability (CHSE) certification program from the Ministry of Tourism as a standard guide to health protocols to increase consumer confidence during the pandemic,” he said.
Sandiaga explained, we really appreciate the GoFood platform which has similar initiatives, so that culinary SMEs are expected to be able to provide safe and comfortable services, and be able to grow even more in the midst of a pandemic.

He added, in order to support tourism players and the local creative economy, we also continue to echo the spirit of the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement and the CHSE health protocol certification as a standard guide to health protocols to increase consumer confidence during this pandemic.
GoFood also consistently encourages the implementation of #ProteksiEkstra among business partners which they have encouraged since the beginning of the pandemic. This support is provided by distributing digital assets that support health protocols in every culinary order, such as safety seals or safety tape.
Then, providing special visibility through the application for restaurants that meet 3 out of 6 restaurant requirements with strict procedures under the ‘Strict Health Protocol’ category, providing visibility banners for restaurants that have CHSE certification under the ‘Safe and Economical Snack’ category.
GoFood also provides access to vaccination facilities for thousands of business partners in DKI Jakarta and Batam, who also collaborates with the Tourism Ministry for vaccination centers in DKI Jakarta, and distributes care kits for GoFood business partners who have been vaccinated.
