INDONESIA’S DIGITAL ECONOMY, GREAT POTENTIAL LACK OF MANPOWER

THE WORKFORCE is an obstacle to the development of the digital economy in Indonesia. Yet the potential of this country is very large. According to research by Google, Temasek and Bain & Company, it is projected that by 2025, the digital economy in Indonesia will reach US$124 billion, up from US$44 billion in 2020. This opportunity can be achieved with the presence of sufficient digital talent.

According to the CEO of Binar Academy, Alamanda Shantika, said in reports, it is difficult for companies to carry out digital transformation because of the problem of limited human resources.

“Currently, several companies are faced with several problems regarding their human resources,” said Alamanda in a press release, Saturday (10/9).

To overcome this, Alamanda Shantika continued that Binar Academy is here to help companies transform digitally from the HR side, through the Digital Talent Accelerator and Job Connect. Digital Talent Accelerator is a program focused on improving the digital skills of a company’s internal employees, while Job Connect will help companies find new digital talents for their business needs.

Digital Talent Accelerator has a training program that will present digital products, which consist of training on building applications, application design, and so on.

In addition, there are also workshop programs such as creating a digital mindset & culture, digital data analysis, operations to marketing. The duration of the Digital Talent Accelerator training program and workshop starts from 6 weeks to 4 months, depending on the company’s business goals.

“Meanwhile, our Job Connect Solution provides a platform to find talents who have been equipped with digital skills and soft skills that are in line with the company’s needs,” Alamanda concluded. [sources/photo special]
