SIPA 2021 EVENT WHICH CAN BRING INNOVATION AND DRIVING THE ECONOMY

THE SOLO International Performing Arts (SIPA) 2021 event which is carried out in the framework of the pillars of innovation and adaptation as well as collaboration so that it can again present spaces of creation and appreciation for creative economy players. On the other hand, it is also considered capable of driving the economy by creating job opportunities.

According to the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno when reviewing the implementation of SIPA 2021 which took place at Bengawan Solo Park, Taru Jurug Animal Park, Surakarta, Friday (10/8) night said the SIPA 2021 implementation marked the re-opening of event activities but with health protocols, with innovation, which greatly opens up our opportunities to display an innovation of the nation’s children that hopefully can move the economy.

“SIPA 2021 is an annual agenda featuring a variety of performing arts, such as dance, music, and theater. Taking place from 7 to 9 October, SIPA 2021 is held with a hybrid concept. Combining live performances, video tapping, and virtual performances,” he said.

Likewise with the audience, there are those who attend live and also watch via video streaming. For spectators who attend live, it comes with a drive-in concept. Namely, they watched the show from inside the car in order to maintain safety and comfort. SIPA 2021 itself will be attended by 61 art delegates from within and outside the country.

“Earlier we drove in, enjoyed, didn’t get out of the car and we saw for ourselves the best works, talents of performing arts. Hopefully, SIPA, which was initiated in 2009, will continue to improve next year, expanding with technological adaptation. And there were so many supporters event so that there are many job opportunities that can encourage and generate optimism and hope in the midst of economic challenges and difficulties,” Sandiaga remarked.

Sandiaga further said that his party will continue to coordinate with related parties including local governments in ensuring that the event can run smoothly and with prudence.

“We don’t want what happened in July and August to repeat itself, moreover we have been warned that there is a threat of a third wave. But if we are able to adapt to the situation and of course increase vaccinations and our ability to control COVID-19, this will guide us in holding concerts in the future,” Sandiaga concluded.
