THE MINISTRY of Tourism and Creative Economy collaborates with Adira Finance to give appreciation to MSME players in five super priority destinations, (SPDs) namely Borobudur, Lake Toba, Mandalika, Labuan Bajo, and Likupang through ‘Gebyar Adira Kreasi 2021’.
Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) players are considered worthy of appreciation because they remain enthusiastic in creating works, creating innovations, and improving the quality of their products in the midst of a pandemic and economic challenges.
‘Gebyar Adira Kreasi 2021’ will be held at Lumbini Park, Borobudur Temple, Magelang, Central Java, on Saturday, November 13, 2021 night. ‘Gebyar Adira Kreasi’ itself became the highlight of the 2021 Local Creative Festival with the theme #TumbuhBersamaSahabat.
According to the Deputy for Marketing at the Ministry of Tourism, Nia Niscaya in Magelang, Saturday (11/13) said this event is a form of synergy between the government and the private sector in providing support and appreciation to Indonesian creative economy players. The Local Creative Festival Awarding which will be given on the night of Gebyar Adira Kreasi as a means of proving themselves for MSME players engaged in the culinary, fashion, and craft sub-sectors, to be the best, as well as show that the quality of local Indonesian brands is not inferior to foreign brands.
“We hope that these winners can become the best local heroes in each super priority destination, which can provide a multiplier effect on the local economy and also open up the widest possible employment opportunities,” said Nia Niscaya.
Nia Niscaya also said that the spirit of growing with friends at the 2021 Local Creative Festival that Adira Finance wanted to convey, was actually not only for MSME players in super priority destinations, but that spirit should always be present in every tourism and creative economy person in Indonesia.
After undergoing the selection process and coaching camp from September 1 to November 2, 2021, 45 nominees of MSMEs were selected to become local heroes in the fashion, culinary, and craft business categories in each super priority destination.
The assessment criteria in selecting the best MSMEs will be based on product innovation and originality, vision and mission, business models, and developed business strategies. Winners will receive prizes worth hundreds of millions of rupiah in the form of business capital, business training, exposure to the media about their products and businesses, and participation in the exhibition of diaspora Small, Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
Meanwhile, Adira Finance’s President Director, Hafid Hadeli, explained that 2021 will be the second year that Adira Finance has partnered with the Ministry of Tourism in organizing the 2021 Local Creative Festival. This is a form of support as the private sector for the #BeliKreatifLokal and Proudly Made Indonesia (Bangga Buatan Indonesia) national campaign.
“Through this event, we want to show the company’s commitment to always support MSMEs to grow, in accordance with Adira Finance’s vision of creating shared value to improve the welfare of the Indonesian people,” Hafid remarked.
Hafid also hopes that this annual event will be a way to open up greater opportunities for MSMEs, so that their products are increasingly recognized nationally and have the opportunity to compete in the global arena. [traveltext.id]
