IN PROMOTING, updating, supporting, and monitoring the implementation of ASEAN-standard competency standards and curriculum for Indonesia’s tourism and creative economy, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy has inaugurated the implementing board of the Indonesian National Tourism Professional Board (NTPB) for the 2022-2023 term of service.
According to the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno in the weekly press briefing at the Sapta Pesona Building, Jakarta, Monday (1/10) said NTPB Indonesia itself has been established since 2019. Its purpose is to promote, update, support, and monitor the implementation of ASEAN-standard competency standards and curriculum.
“In addition, reporting on the implementation of the assessment by the tourism professional certification board. And facilitate the exchange of information related to assessments and the latest developments related to increasing the capacity of the tourism workforce,” he said.
He concluded that I believe that the NTPB executive board will be able to carry out its duties as well as possible in accordance with the responsibilities given in order to promote a superior and competitive tourism professional workforce at the national, ASEAN and world levels. [traveltext.id]
