BUGATTI CHIRON HAS FINALLY ENTERED THE FINAL STAGES OF PRODUCTION

BUGATTI informs that they have sold all 500 Bugatti Chirons. The company said that with the sales achievement, the production of the model has entered the final production stage.

Quoted from the Hindustan Times, Monday (1/24), the Chiron is the company’s attempt to exceed the limits of the Bugatti Veyron in terms of power output. The car was inspired by the famous racer, Louis Chiron, who raced for Bugatti between 1926 and 1933.

Bugatti produced the Veyron model from 2005 to 2015 and produced 986 hp with a top speed of over 400 km/h. Bugatti states that the Veyron is still considered one of the most advanced vehicles in the world.

While developing the Chiron, the company redesigned the Veyron’s W16 8.0-liter engine with four turbochargers that helped the car reach a massive 1479 hp with a peak torque of 1,600 Nm.

This hyper sports car can reach speeds from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, followed by 200 km/h in 6.1 seconds, and finally, 300 km/h in 13.1 seconds.

The Chiron has a top speed of 420 km/h which is electronically limited. In 2017, the Chiron went from zero to 400 km/h and returned to zero again in 41.96 seconds, setting a time record, followed in 2019 when Bugatti set a new speed record of 490.484 km/h. The record holds today, the automaker said.

Christophe Piochon, Chief Operating Officer of Bugatti Rimac and President of Bugatti Automobiles said: “The Chiron represents the best and most extraordinary vehicle in the world.

“In every way, it must excel, not only fast, but also beautifully designed, made from the finest materials, usable in all conditions and at all times, and comfortable during long journeys. This is what makes hyper sports cars truly unique,” added Piochon. [antaranews/photo special]
