ARTOTEL Group announces that the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MATALESOGE Special Needs Services, a consultant for Individuals with special needs in support in handling individuals with special needs both to all employees in all ARTOTEL Group hotel chains so that every employee can serve hotel guests with special needs who stay at the hotel.
According to Eduard Rudolf Pangkerego, COO, ARTOTEL Group at the signing of the MoU, Thursday (2/10) at the ARTOTEL Group Office, Jakarta said both parties have agreed to develop Education and Beyond programs through the ARTOTEL Group Corporate Social Responsibility program, ‘The Art of Goodness in People’.
“In this case, the MATALESOGE Special Needs Services team will provide introduction training for all ARTOTEL Group employees so that they can serve hotel guests with special needs and their families, so they can stay at our hotel chain feeling safe and happy,” said Eduard Pangkeredo.
He explained that the development of programs for the ARTOTEL Group such as this training will be given to every department. We hope that in the future ARTOTEL Group can become the first hotel where hotel staff and employees understand and also can serve individuals with special needs so that there is no distance between us.
“What is clear is that this will become a benchmark for ARTOTEL Group, which really cares about individuals with special needs and people with disabilities to make hotels that are friendly to them and can be an inspiration for other hotels in helping individuals with special needs. So, we hope that this memorandum of understanding is not just a signature, but there is an action plan that we can carry out together,” he remarked.
Meanwhile, Tommy Hermanses, CEO of MATALESOGE Special Needs Services, said, we are grateful to ARTOTEL Group for giving us the opportunity to develop individual programs with special needs for ARTOTEL Group as we will be implementing in the future in corporate training, work training, visual art exhibition programs.
“For Corporate Training, MATALESOGE Special Needs Services provides training to ARTOTEL Group to recognize and serve the needs of hotel guests with special needs. This training is given to every department in the hotel such as the front office department, security, housekeeping or administration department,” said Tommy,
Tommy explained, that while for work trraining, ARTOTEL Group will provide job training places for individuals with special needs in departments that are determined by both parties. As for the training period for indivisual with special needs, a written collective agreement will be made along with the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) that has been prepared by us.
“As for the Visual Art Exhibition program, ARTOTEL Group will provide a place for invididual with special needs to be able to exhibit visual art works, especially paintings, in all hotel galleries under the ARTOTEL Group network in accordance with the hotel program calendar of events. Likewise for marketing artworks such as T-shirts, tumblers, tote bags and others or merchandising to be sold through the ARTOTEL Group promotion channel,” he concluded. [traveltext.id]
