LOMBOK INT’L AIRPORT APPLIES FLAT PARKING RATES AT MOTOGP MANDALIKA

PT ANGKASA Pura I, Lombok International Airport, West Nusa Tenggara, stated that starting March 17-20, it will apply flat parking rates for two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles to support the Pertamina Grand Prix Of Indonesia (MotoGP) event.

“Beyond that date, normal tariffs apply. The adjustment to the imposition of entry fees is implemented to facilitate outflow, so that there is no congestion at the exit of the Lombok Airport area,” said General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I BIL, Nugroho Jati in Praya, Wednesday (3/16).

In addition, he added that the flat parking rate can shorten the distance or reduce the density of vehicle traffic that comes out carrying passengers at Lombok Airport. This is to avoid congestion when traffic flows out of the airport.

With this policy in place, the entrance and parking fees that will be applied using a flat rate apply to regular (non-subscribed) parking users. The application of the tariff for entering the courtyard and parking vehicles at Lombok Airport at the MotoGP event, which was held at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, namely for two wheels of IDR8,000 and four wheels of IDR15,000 for one entry.

“Payment of entrance fees for the courtyard and parking will be carried out at the airport entrance,” he said.

To note, PT Angkasa Pura I Lombok International Airport has adjusted parking rates, both for two-wheeled, four-wheeled, six-wheeled vehicles, as well as overnight vehicles starting in early 2020.

The parking rate adjustment at Lombok Airport is for two-wheeled vehicles, the old tariff is IDR3,000/one entry to IDR3,000/first hour and IDR1,000, for every subsequent hour until the 12th hour, IDR28,000 for over 12 hours or stay.

As for four-wheelers, the old tariff is IDR5,000/first hour to IDR7,500/first hour. IDR2,500 for each subsequent hour until the 12th hour, IDR60,000 for above 12 hours up to 24 hours (stay).

For six-wheelers, the old tariff is IDR10,000/first hour to IDR12,000/first hour and IDR3,000 for each subsequent hour until the 12th hour, IDR80,000 for over 12 hours up to 24 hours (stay). [antaranews/photo special]
