There is also Gili Air, the closest island to Lombok, so it is generally an option for a one-day visit. Most of the travelers come there with their families.

To try to feel the sensation of snorkeling in the Gili islands, you can directly make a reservation directly at the rental place or through a guide. Abdul Karim (27), a snorkeling business activist in the last 10 years ago, provides three spots for snorkeling, including the Romantic Statue on Gili Meno, Turtle Point and Meno Wall.

After the romantic statue, you will be taken to Turtle Point or Turtle Heaven to see turtles and Meno Wall or cliffs with a depth of 3-4 meters (down).

“You can be picky around the spot. At least 3 snorkeling spots. Sometimes check for currents, the color of the water is cloudy or not. We prioritize guest safety. If the location is safe, then snorkel there,” said Abdul Karim, who is also the captain of the 03 Dara ship.

“For local tourists, you could say 20%. Expensive. Gili (Trawangan) is one of the expensive islands. So how much do you have to spend for a vacation to Gili Trawangan,” he said.

The recommended time of visit for those of you who are backpackers and want to enjoy Gili Trawangan is about 3 days 2 nights. However, if you intend to visit two other dykes, such as Gili Meno and Air, it is advisable to spend about 5 days and 4 nights.

If you look at one of the online accommodation providers, the rates for hotels in this area vary from IDR100,000 to IDR2 million per night. You can adjust it according to the budget you have. [antaranews/photo special]
