2023 NISSAN PATHFINDER ROCK CREEK DEBUTS WITH 295HP, V6 ENGINE

NISSAN America introduced the Pathfinder Rock Creek which is targeting the adventurous hobbyist (outdoor) with a car that is tougher than the previous Pathfinder variant, and is available only in four-wheel drive (4×4) options.

“Pathfinder is all about ‘returning to nature’ and Pathfinder Rock Creek takes that spirit further,” said Michael Colleran, Nissan’s US vice president of marketing and sales.

“The Rock Creek Pathfinder has a style and exterior that is perfect for creating adventures anywhere,” adds Michael Colleran. Competitors Toyota Highlander and Hyundai Palisade uses an engine with increased power to 295 hp from 284 hp with 270 lb-ft of torque from 259 lb-ft.

The Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek features a harness tow hitch with a maximum towing capacity of 3 tons. The dashing design car comes with a captain seat and LED fog lights.

Other changes available on the Pathfinder Rock Creek include a 5/8-inch off-road lift suspension, 18-inch beadlock tires, and a tubular roof rack with a payload of 220 pounds.

To enhance the appearance of the car, there is a Rock Creek badge, a dark V-motion grille, seats with Rock Creek embroidery and an Intelligent Around View Monitor with Off-Road Mode. However, Nissan America will only sell the Rock Creek Pathfinder at the beginning of the second half of 2022. [antaranews/photo special]
