BALI ISLAND has been named the World’s Happiest Holiday Destination in 2022. According to a survey by French travel and tourism operator Club Med, Bali has been named the World’s Happiest Holiday Destination in 2022.

As reported by the clubmed.co.uk website, Bali is the most popular destination for people who want to enjoy a happy and stress-free vacation. The island destination scored 73.7 out of 100.

“We have revealed the world’s happiest vacation destinations for 2022, and our research found that Bali, is the most popular destination for those looking for a happy and stress-free vacation,” read a statement from Club Med. 

It explained that Bali came out on top because of the incredible spas and wellness centers on offer and the great outdoor activities. It is suitable for those seeking relaxation and adventure on their vacation.

Quoting indonesiaexpat.id, responding to the ranking, Bali Deputy Governor Tjok Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati (Cok Ace) expressed his gratitude. There are several things that support the selection of Bali in surveys and other awards, namely people, nature, and culture.

“We managed to get this award with difficulty. This is what we must maintain and we hope that people in Bali, whether they are in the tourism sector or not, let us work together for Bali,” he said.

The survey methodology is based on multiple sources, having collected data on the 50 most visited tourist destinations globally. The data collected refers to several metrics, including crime index, safety index, pollution index, number of outdoor activities, and number of spas and fitness centers.
