SWISS-Belhotel International has recently added to its portfolio of hotels in Indonesia by taking over the management of a midscale hotel in Timika, Central Papua which has officially changed its name to Swiss-Belinn Timika.
According to Emmanuel Guillard, Senior Vice President Operations & Development of Swiss-Belhotel International, in his statement said the hotel’s management transition takes effect from Monday, March 6, 2023, and becomes the sixth hotel in Papua and 77th hotel managed by Swiss-Belhotel International in Indonesia.
“Strategically located in the city center of Mimika Regency, the hotel is close to Mozes Kilangin Airport in Timika, and various local attractions including Kuala Kencana, a modern area that offers entertainment, and shopping centers, making this hotel the right accommodation for business visits,” he said.
He explained, as the first international standard hotel in Central Papua, Swiss-Belinn Timika has 109 rooms with a choice of room types ranging from Deluxe, Deluxe Pool Access, Grand Deluxe, Business Suite and Premier Suite. A variety of in-room facilities can be enjoyed by guests, as well as high-speed internet access available throughout the hotel.
“For guests who wish to hold meetings or other social events, Swiss-Belinn Timika is equipped with 2 (two) function rooms that can accommodate from 10 to 300 people, equipped with audio-visual facilities, meeting equipment, high-speed internet access and accompanied by various dishes prepared by the Swiss-Belinn Timika culinary team,” Guillard remarked.
He added, to complete the trip in Central Papua, Swiss-Belinn Timika also provides other facilities such as Swiss-Bistro™ which serves a variety of dishes ranging from local and international dishes.
