MALAYSIA Airlines will open a new route from Kuala Lumpur to Kertajati starting October 30 2023. Through this direct flight to Bandung, West Java, Malaysia Airlines is increasing connectivity from Malaysia to seven cities in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Denpasar, Medan, Yogyakarta, Pekanbaru , and Surabaya.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Airlines, Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, in his press release, Monday (9/25), 2023 said that as one of Malaysia Airlines’ five largest markets, the addition of Kertajati to our network will not only provide flexibility and greater comfort for travelers, whether on holiday or on business.
“However, it also stimulates tourism receipts and strengthens bilateral relations between the two countries. With this new service, he said, tourists can easily explore more areas of West Java, including the beautiful Bandung, Cirebon and Majalengka,” he said.
Malaysia Airlines Kuala Lumpur-Kertajati schedule
Starting 30 October 2023, there will be two return Kuala Lumpur-Kertajati (PP) flights, operated by Boeing 737-800NG airlines. Using aircraft number MH0845, the aircraft will depart from Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia to Kertajati International Airport in Majalengka, and vice versa. This flight departs every Monday and Friday.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, said that global travel demand continues to be strong, so that his party has seen a positive response on routes to Indonesia to date, with an average load factor of 80%.
“We invite travelers to take advantage of introductory fares while enjoying the warm Malaysian Hospitality services that come with flying with Malaysia Airlines. Malaysia Airlines is offering early introductory fares until 8 October, for the travel period of 30 October 2023 to 29 March 2923,” he said.
He explained that the fares start from 519 Ringgit (around IDR1.7 million) for round trips in economy class and from 1,969 Ringgit (around IDR6.4 million) for round trips using business class. Apart from that, Malaysia Airlines also provides a free shuttle service from Kertajati International Airport to Bandung City.
This daily service will start from 30 October to 31 December 2023. Pick-up will be made at the arrival area of Kertajati International Airport at 21.00 WIB and arrive at Pasteur, Bandung (across from the Aston Hotel) at 22.30 WIB.
Meanwhile, the shuttle service from Bandung will depart at 17.00 WIB and arrive at Kertajati International Airport at 18.30 WIB. [sources/photo special]
