SUPER AIR JET WILL OPEN SEVEN FLIGHT ROUTES FROM KERTAJATI AIRPORT

SUPER Air Jet will be one of the airlines that will start serving flights from Kertajati Airport on October 29 2023.

According to the Main Director of Super Air Jet, Ari Azhari, in his official statement, Wednesday (10/11), 2023, the company will serve direct flights to seven destinations from Kertajati Airport. These destinations are Kualanamu, Batam, Palembang, Bali, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin and Makassar.

“The flight will be served using a comfortable Airbus 320-200 aircraft with a capacity of 180 economy class seats. Kertajati Airport is strategically located in West Java, which is the gateway to interesting destinations throughout Indonesia. This airport, which is located in Majalengka, will gradually connecting West Java with other interesting destinations in Indonesia directly and interconnectedly.

Apart from that, West Java has a variety of tourist destinations that are very attractive to young people, such as Bandung with its creative culture, exotic beaches in Pangandaran, mountains in Garut, and others.

“We are very enthusiastic about introducing West Java through Kertajati. This must be welcomed and supported together because it is the right moment and to be involved in the development of tourism and regional connectivity,” said Ari.

Previously, PT Angkasa Pura II or AP II confirmed that Kertajati Airport was ready to serve jet flights diverted from Husein Sastranegara Airport starting October 29 2023.

Meanwhile, AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said that all land side and air side facilities at Kertajati Airport were certain to be ready. Awaluddin said that coordination with all stakeholders had also been carried out so that scheduled jet flights transferred from Husein Sastranegara Airport ran smoothly.

Awaluddin explained that apart from Super Air Jet, other airlines that will operate at Kertajati Airport starting October 29 2023 are Indonesia AirAsia, Citilink and Malaysia Airlines. [sources/photo special]
