Factors that support this growth include the holiday season for class promotions, Umrah trips, as well as peak periods such as Christmas and New Year,” he said.
He explained that Garuda Indonesia had also increased the number of Umrah flights from various main cities in Indonesia. In the second quarter of 2023, GIAA managed to record a net profit of US$33.6 million, or reversed from a loss of US$110 million experienced in the previous quarter.
