SOEKARNO-HATTA AIRPORT BECOMES THE BEST FLIGHT TERMINAL IN INDONESIA

THE INDONESIAN National Air Carriers Association (INACA) as the association that oversees national airlines has designated Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten as the best air terminal within PT Angkasa Pura II.

The status of the best airport is assessed based on customer satisfaction or the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) 2023 from two existing airports, namely Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang) and Fatmawati Soekarno (Bengkulu).

According to AP II’s VP of Corporate Communications, Cin Asmoro, said the appreciation from INACA is an incentive for all airports in the AP II environment to continuously improve service standards for all stakeholders.

“The perspective assessed by CSI 2023 is quite complete, starting from passengers, airlines and other stakeholders at the airport. Through this event, INACA is helping to encourage improvements in service standards at AP II airports in the future,” he said, Wednesday (11/08), 2023.

He explained that the achievement of Terminal 2 at Soekarno-Hatta Airport as the best in Indonesia was also the result of the CSI assessment based on five aspects, namely the passenger perspective; aircraft cockpit crew; airline station manager; concessionaire; and stakeholders in cargo transportation.

“Appreciation for the three airports was given during the INACA Festival 2023 which was held on November 4 2023 to commemorate INACA’s 53rd anniversary,” he remarked.

Meanwhile, Executive General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Dwi Ananda Wicaksana, said that the standard of service and facilities at Soetta Airport continues to be consistently improved. Soekarno-Hatta International Airport previously also received an Airport Service Quality (ASQ) achievement from the Airport Council International (ACI), namely 4.98 from the target value of 4.9 in 2022.

“We continue to provide various facilities, the newest technology and digital based facilities, namely the Travelin application, where airplane passengers no longer need to show their personal data physically, now just by showing their face at the security check point when going to the boarding lounge using the Travelinepass feature passengers can easily “and practical when processing departures. To do this, passengers can first download the Travelin application and create an Airport ID,” he concluded. [sources/photo special].
