EMIRATES snagged seven prizes at the coveted Skytrax World Airline Awards for 2024 in London, proving that when it comes to exceptional air travel, they truly are in a league of their own. Among the seven gongs was another prize for Best Airline Inflight Entertainment (for the 18th time) – coming just weeks after a similar award from AirlineRatings.
With more than 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment in over 40 languages, there’s something for everyone to enjoy on every flight. Emirates was recognised for its outstanding first-class service as it was named the Best First-Class Airline in the Middle East, Best First-Class Airline Comfort Amenities and the Best First-Class Onboard Catering in the Middle East.
It was also awarded the Most Family Friendly Airline in the Middle East, the Best Premium Economy Class Airline in the Middle East and the Best Premium Economy Class Onboard Catering in the Middle East.
And Emirates was named one of the world’s top overall as it ranked in third place behind only Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines.
The Skytrax awards are voted on by customers from more than 100 nationalities in an extensive survey conducted between September 2023 and May 2024. Over 350 airlines were considered in this year’s rankings.
The top 10 airlines for 2024 according to Skytrax are: (1). Qatar Airways, (2). Singapore Airlines, (3). Emirates, (4). ANA All Nippon Airways, (5). Cathay Pacific Airways, (6). Japan Airlines, (7).
