DEPUTY Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar officially opened the Indonesia Fashion Aesthetic (IFA) 2025 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Jakarta, on Monday (02/10), 2025. This event aims to strengthen the position of Indonesia’s fashion and beauty industry in the national and international markets.
With the theme “The Precious”, IFA 2025 is an event for fashion and beauty business players to network and showcase innovations. The event’s series of activities include a fashion and beauty show, an exhibition and an awards ceremony.
In her speech, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene appreciated the implementation of IFA 2025 as a positive step in promoting the growth of the fashion and beauty industry in Indonesia.
“This event proves that Indonesia’s fashion and beauty industry has moved up a notch and is ready to compete at the global level. I would like to thank the organizers for providing an important platform for industry players to develop,” said Irene.
Irene also highlighted the commitment of the Ministry of Creative Economy in supporting the sector through various initiatives to improve product quality and expand market networks.
“It is time for Indonesian fashion to become king in its own country and dominate the international market,” she added.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Creative Economy also participated in the IFA 2025 exhibition through the creative economy booth, which showcased fashion products from leading local brands, namely Anantari from Yogyakarta and Adrie Basuki from Bogor. This participation is expected to further introduce and increase the appreciation of Indonesian fashion products on the global stage.
