AIRBUS TARGETS DELIVERING 820 COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT THROUGHOUT 2025

FRENCH aircraft manufacturer Airbus plans to deliver 820 commercial aircraft units in 2025. Airbus management said the company assumes no additional disruptions to global trade or the global economy, air traffic, supply chains, internal operations and its ability to deliver products and services.

“This forecast does not include the impact of potential new tariffs on the company’s business,” management wrote in the 2024 annual report, cited Saturday (02/22), 2025.

Based on these assumptions, Airbus is targeting several achievements, namely the delivery of 820 commercial aircraft, an adjusted EBIT of around 7 billion euros and a free cash flow before customer financing of around 4.5 billion euros.

Meanwhile, throughout 2024, Airbus is forecasting a 6% increase in revenues to 69.2 billion euros, compared to 65.4 billion euros in the previous year.

Throughout last year, the company delivered 766 commercial aircraft, up from 735-units in 2023. Deliveries included 75 A220s, 602 A320 Family aircraft, 32 A330s and 57 A350s.

Airbus’ Helicopters Division also recorded revenue growth of 8% to €7.9 billion, driven by an increase in deliveries to 361-units from 346-units in the previous year and a solid performance across various programs and services.

Meanwhile, Airbus Defence and Space’s revenues increased by 5% to 12.1 billion Euros, driven by the Air Power business. Airbus also delivered seven A400M military transport aircraft, including the first to Kazakhstan. [antaranews/photo special]
