ARTOTEL Group (AG) in cooperation with MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy held an Intimate Iftar Gathering Journey of Gratitude Event at Lidah Local Bar, ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan on Friday (03/7), 2025. Inclusivity program for people with special needs. This is part of the “The Art of Goodness” initiative that ARTOTEL Group has been implementing since 2022.
According to Yulia Maria, Director of Marketing Communications of AG, said this collaboration aims to create equal opportunities for people with special needs their self-confidence.
“Praise the Lord of this event between AG-MATALESOGE, which has been in collaboration for 3 years, this event is deliberately for Human Resources Department in all AG hotels in Jakarta so that they are more familiar with trainees with special needs from the MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy which is part of and the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) principles,” she said.
Yulia added that the CSR program so that the Human Resources Department (HRD) of each hotel unit of the uniformity of inclusivity so that the balance in gender from the operational hotel program was expected to be able to run, which had been decided in the last 2 years ago. Here we (AG) who have worked with MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy with the inclusivity program in the field of hospitality can run sustainable in the future in all our hotels throughout Indonesia.
“This sustainable program will give hope to individual trainees with special needs MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy to be able to work according to their respective capacities,” Yulia noted.
Meanwhile Harry Florentinus, Director of Human Resources AG said the ideal program of this glorious program was able to run, what else I just found out from Mr. Alexander Nayoan, Head (Dean) of ARTOTEL Group Learning Center (AGLC) about 1% of employees in each hotel must hire individuals with special needs, and just now I discussed with MATALESOGE team, this program is not only for the internships but also in work placement in this hospitality sector.
“What is clear is that the MATALESOGE trainees must be given opportunities like our normal brothers. We are very happy and excited about the exclusivity program and hope that this program will bring blessings to all of us in the ARTOTEL Group,” he emphasized.
Likewise, Tommy Hermanses, Founder/CEO of MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy said that the collaboration with ARTOTEL Group is a real step in our efforts to create equal opportunities for people with special needs. Through this program, they will be able to find and maximize their skills in the hospitality industry.
“This collaboration between AG with MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy also paves the way for more people with special needs to contract in the hospitality world and is an inspiration to other sectors in creating equal opportunities for all,” Tommy affirmed.
