PT ANGKASA Pura Indonesia or InJourney Airports recorded an increase in aircraft passenger movements throughout January-February 2025 or early this year. As of February 2025, the cumulative number of aircraft passengers at all InJourney Airports was recorded at approximately 11.44 million passengers or an increase of 1% compared to the same period last year of 11.36 million passengers.

According to Faik Fahmi, President Director of InJourney Airports, this increase occurred because the demand for flights on domestic routes continued to be maintained and the demand on international routes was quite enthusiastic with significant growth.

“The number of passengers on domestic routes in the 37 airports managed by InJourney Airports reached 8.33 million passengers in February 2025. Meanwhile, international routes were 3.11 million passengers. So, in total, we serve 11.36 million passengers,” said Faik, Tuesday, (03/18), 2025.

According to him, the growing demand in February is in line with the strengthening demand for flights globally. Demand is growing globally, and according to IATA (International Air Transport Association) data, the strongest growth at the beginning of this year was in the Asia-Pacific region.

In addition to the growth in the number of passengers, Faik added, InJourney Airports also recorded the number of aircraft movements in February 2025, reaching 83 thousand flights and cargo transportation volume of about 100 million kilograms.
