SWISS-Belresidences Kalibata officially launches LUME, a new culinary destination offering a dining experience with a fusion of Asian and Indonesian flavors in a modern and warm atmosphere. Located on the first floor of the hotel, LUME is part of the hotel’s facility expansion and expands the culinary options available in South Jakarta.
Featuring an Asian Fusion Dining concept, LUME combines the richness of culinary delights from various Asian countries with a distinctive Indonesian touch. Each dish is designed to balance authentic flavors, creativity, and modern presentation, providing a dining experience that is both intimate and unique for each guest.
As part of the lifestyle facility development at Swiss-Belresidences Kalibata, LUME is designed not only as a restaurant, but also as a space that brings together culinary experiences, togetherness, and comfort in one destination. Whether for lunch with colleagues, family dinners, or simply relaxing, LUME offers a warm and modern atmosphere for every visitor.
According to Roni Martadinata, General Manager of Swiss-Belresidences Kalibata, the presence of LUME is part of the hotel’s commitment to continuously delivering innovations that add value to guests. “The hospitality industry continues to evolve, and so do our guests’ expectations.
“Through LUME, we want to be more than just a place to enjoy a meal. We want to create a destination that offers a warm, comfortable dining experience that fosters moments of togetherness. We hope that LUME can become a new culinary option for the people of South Jakarta and complement our guests’ stay at our hotel,” said Roni Martadinata.
He explained that as a representation of its concept, LUME offers a diverse menu that blends Asian and Indonesian culinary inspirations. Some signature dishes include Balinese Tuna Tataki Sambal Matah, Laksa Ramen, Korean BBQ Short Rib, and a dessert creation, Durian Mouse Parfait. The diverse selection is complemented by signature beverages such as Lychee Yakult Fizz, Yuzu Sparkling Lemonade, Thai Tea Cream Latte, and Matcha Espresso Fusion, designed to complement guests’ dining experience.
Meanwhile, Chef Otong, Executive Chef of Swiss-Belresidences Kalibata, said that each menu at LUME is developed through an exploration of various Asian culinary cultures without forgetting the rich Indonesian flavors that have become part of the local culinary identity.
“We want to present a menu that combines Asian and Indonesian flavors in one dining experience. Each dish is developed while respecting its original character, then enriched with modern presentation techniques and touches, resulting in a menu that is not only visually appealing but also provides a memorable taste experience,” concluded Chef Otong.
In addition to serving selected dishes, LUME also provides a more personalized dining experience through interactions between the culinary team and guests. From menu recommendations to the stories behind each dish’s inspiration, the entire experience is designed to create a closer connection between the food and the diner. [traveltext.id]
