ON behalf of Aman to share the official reopening of Rosa Alpina, an Aman Partner Hotel for the summer season. Located in the charming village of San Cassiano in the heart of the Italian Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Rosa Alpina is an intimate property featuring just 52 rooms and suites, as well as an exclusive three-bedroom Penthouse, and Chalet Zeno, a spacious private refuge accommodating up to six guests.
This summer, guests can enjoy a new six-night experience, From the Venetian Lagoon to the Dolomites, comprising a three-night stay at both Aman Venice and Rosa Alpina from June to October 2021. Guests can look forward to the vast array of outdoor activities this Summer at Rosa Alpina including some of the world’s best road biking trails available from the hotel’s doorstep and the area plays host to the annual Maratona dles Dolomites race each summer, which is open to amateurs.
In addition, Rosa Alpina offers mountain biking tours that will invigorate even the most advanced of riders. Sky Running, a challenging run across dedicated trails that sit up to 2000m above sea level, designed for fit and active guests above the alpine landscape. Guests can experience breath-taking views and challenge their physical stamina when they sign up for retreats offered at Rosa Alpina throughout the season.
Extreme Mountain Sports Retreat will feature a daily extreme fitness activity including a Sky Running excursion. The six-night Extreme Rock-Climbing Retreat will include daily climbing excursions for seasoned experts. For the ultimate challenge, guests can enjoy the Extreme Adventure – Four Peaks experience, an adrenaline-fuelled climbing excursion that sees each individual summit the peaks of Sas dla Crusc, Piza dales Diesc, Lavarela and Conturines.
The new bespoke Aman Driving Journeys awaits guests who want to further explore the area. Guests will have the opportunity to embark on self-drive road trips on supported single or multi-day journeys using Rosa Alpina as a base.
The flexible itineraries are between three to five hours of driving per day with guests free to set off in their own time, exploring and pausing en-route as the mood takes them. Following a day spent exploring, the warm embrace of Rosa Alpina welcomes guests to the Aman Spa featuring an adults-only wellness area comprising nine treatment rooms, an indoor swimming pool, a cold plunge pool, a Finnish sauna, and a steam room.
Signature treatments at the spa include the Alpine Herbal Muscle Relief, which features a deep-tissue massage using arnica oil, known for its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to increase circulation and restore muscle strength. Also Rosa Alpina’s on-site 3* Michelin restaurant, St. Hubertus, is an indulgent foray into the nation’s cuisine, serving Italy’s hearty and delectable cuisine.
