VENUE Magazine in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will hold a tourism and business forum entitled Indonesia Tourism & Business Forum (ITBEF). This interactive forum is expected to expand knowledge, increase networks, and create business opportunities in tourism and MICE.
The theme raised at ITBEF 2022 is “Collaborate to Rise”. There will be various activities at this event, including plenary sessions, exhibitions, table tops, and MICE competition for students. ITBEF 2022 will be held on 15-16 August 2022 at the Jakarta Convention Center. In addition, this event can also be watched online via the YouTube platform.
ITBEF 2022 will present two plenary sessions. On the first day, there will be Jane Vong Holmes as the Chair of the Asia-Pacific Chapter of ICCA, then Supawan Teerarat as the Senior Vice President of TCEB. The theme raised is “Global MICE Trend”.
On the second day, the theme was “Recover Together, Recover Stronger Tourism”. The speakers who attended included representatives from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Ministry of State Owned Enterprises, as well as from the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment.
In addition to the two plenary sessions, there will also be a number of breakout rooms with interesting themes, including “MICE in The Metaverse”, “Making Bank Off Sport Tourism”, and “Post-Pandemic Investment Opportunities in Tourism in Indonesia”.
