VIETNAMESE airline company Vietjet Air inaugurated the newest flight route Jakarta-Ho Chi Minh City which will be effective from 5 August 2023. The flight from Jakarta-Ho Chi Minh City is the third route from Vietjet Air which connects Indonesia to Vietnam directly. Previously, the Bali-Ho Chi Minh City and Bali-Hanoi routes had been launched in 2019 and 2020.
“Flights from Jakarta to Ho Chi Minh will be scheduled every day and will take effect from August 5,” Vietjet Air Vice President Commercial Jay L. Lingeswara said at the launch event in Jakarta, Tuesday (6/26), 2023.
The new Jakarta-Ho Chi Minh City route is scheduled to depart from 13:30 with a flight frequency once a day. Vietjet Air is holding a promotion to celebrate the launch of the Jakarta-Ho Chi Minh City route, namely ticket prices starting from IDR900 thousand for certain classes every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday one way.
Vietjet Air provides four ticket classes that can be ordered by customers, namely Business class, Sky Boss, Deluxe and Eco-Class. For Business class, users will get several benefits, such as 40 kilograms of free baggage, access to the waiting room and private cabin.
For Sky Boss and Deluxe classes, more or less will get the same benefits, such as free baggage allowance of 30 kilograms and 20 kilograms respectively, priority seats, and others. Meanwhile, the Eco class gets 7 kilograms of free baggage at a more economical price compared to other classes.
The airline also has routes to other countries from Ho Chi Minh City such as Korea, Kazakhstan and other countries. [antaranews/photo special]
