TRAVELOKA PARTNERS WITH SWISS TRAVEL AGENT TO EXPAND TRAVEL PRODUCTS

SOUTHEAST Asia travel platform Traveloka has established a strategic partnership with Switzerland Tourism, Swiss Travel System AG, and KKday with the aim of expanding the reach of travel activity products to consumers in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

According to Traveloka President Caesar Indra, said as a leading travel platform, Traveloka makes consumers the main focus in running its business and reaches more consumers both regionally and even globally.

“This strategic partnership not only enables us to serve more diverse market segments, especially in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, but also opens up opportunities for strategic partnerships with favorite tourist destination countries in the world,” he said in an official statement received in Jakarta, recently.

This agreement was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding this multi-party strategic partnership.

This partnership also marks great trust in Traveloka, as well as strengthening Traveloka’s position which continues to focus on providing comprehensive travel services to meet the needs and aspirations of consumers from various segments.

Traveloka sees a 4-fold increase in transactions for flights to international destinations, including Europe, in the first semester of 2023. For European destinations, Switzerland is also a preferred destination.

Even searches for flights from Indonesia to Switzerland and hotels in Switzerland have also increased since the pandemic (2019) by almost 4 times compared to the recovery period in 2022.

The highest period for travel to Switzerland is recorded in the year-end holiday period from November to December. The enthusiasm for traveling is also visible in the summer, between May and June.

Various interesting activities in Switzerland are the search targets for loyal Traveloka consumers. We are very enthusiastic about establishing a partnership with Traveloka, so that more and more tourism fans from Indonesia will visit interested in visiting and exploring Switzerland,” said Pilet.
