EMIRATES airline opens job vacancies (lockers) for 5,000 people for cabin crew positions in 2024. These lockers are open in 460 cities on 6 continents.
“Emirates celebrates the turn of the year and the arrival of its new fleet of Airbus A350 aircraft by announcing the recruitment of different global cabin crew. A total of 5,000 new cabin crew will maintain the airline’s commitment to continuing to provide the best flight experience in the world,” wrote Emirates in its official release, Friday (01/26), 2024.
This recruitment is specifically aimed at job applicants who will soon or have just entered the world of work. Emirates invites new graduates with internship or part-time work experience, as well as those with a year or more of hospitality or customer service experience. In fact, individuals who want to start a career in the aviation industry are also invited to join.
“These new cabin crew will become an integral part of the world’s largest international airline and one of its most iconic brands. They will also be given the opportunity to hone their customer service and life skills by the best trainers in the industry,” wrote Emirates.
Additionally, cabin crew can explore more than 140 cities in 76 countries as part of their duties and experience the many benefits of being an Emirates cabin crew member.
Previously, in 2023, Emirates had recruited 8,000 cabin crew and carried out recruitment in 353 cities in line with improving its services after going through the pandemic. By August 2023, Emirates’ cabin crew numbers will have surpassed 20,000, and currently stands at 21,500 cabin crew.
Emirates is recruiting new cabin crew as it receives its long-awaited A350 aircraft from the middle of this year, and the Boeing 777-X aircraft which is scheduled to arrive in 2025.
Currently, Emirates has 65 A350 aircraft and 205 777-9 and 777-8 aircraft on its order list. The arrival of these new aircraft will not only expand Emirates’ network but also provide flexibility for the airline to add new routes to its network.
Training in Dubai for New Recruitment
All new cabin crew will undergo eight weeks of intensive training to ensure the highest standards of service, safety and service according to Emirates’ service standards over the years.
The training process will be carried out at Emirates’ facilities in Dubai, where they will acquire various skills, such as communication skills, initiative and leadership qualities.
“They will practice the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team, maintain mental resilience and composure under pressure, and maintain exceptional levels of hospitality and service, to become ambassadors for the iconic brand. Cabin crew will also gain exclusive access to the latest training programs and courses available on LinkedIn,” the company wrote.
