PELITA Air officially arrived with its 16th Airbus A320 aircraft, just in time for Christmas 2025. The arrival of the aircraft, registered PK-PWQ, is a strategic move by the company to ensure reliable and excellent flight services during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 periods, in line with increasing public mobility.
According to Pelita Air President Director Dendy Kurniawan, said the arrival of this newest fleet represents the company’s commitment to supporting national air connectivity, especially during the peak year-end holiday season.
“This fleet expansion is designed to ensure seat availability and strengthen flight frequency on strategic routes. The objective is to ensure that people’s travel needs during the Christmas and New Year period can be properly accommodated,” Dendy stated in a press release on Friday (12/26).
Dendy emphasized that this fleet expansion aligns with the company’s mission to expand access for the public to enjoy a safe, comfortable, and on-time flying experience.
This operational enhancement is designed to ensure seamless holiday travel for all passengers on Pelita Air’s route network.
