DIGITAL TRAVEL PACK INTEGRATION MAKES LOCAL PRODUCTS GO GLOBAL

THE MINISTRY of Creative Economy collaborated with Bank Indonesia to inaugurate the Signature Moment Indonesia Travel Pack (ITP) 2026 in the series of the Indonesian Digital Financial Economy Festival (FEKDI) x Indonesia Fintech Summit & Expo (IFSE) 2026 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC).

This strategic initiative is here to strengthen digital financial connectivity between countries while paving the way for local creative economy products to penetrate the global value chain.

Indonesia Travel Pack (ITP) 2026 is an integrative solution that combines destination information guides, QRIS-based payment services between countries, and connectivity access for foreign tourists. Through the main features Explore, Buy and Connect, tourists can plan trips and make transactions in the local creative and MSME ecosystem safely and practically before arriving in Indonesia.

“This is one part of our collaboration with Bank Indonesia to achieve something extraordinary, namely how we connect with the digital payment system. When digital connectivity and payments become easier, Indonesian creative products, culinary delights and various local experiences can become increasingly known to the world,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar recently.

Irene Umar added that technological inclusivity must reach all levels of business actors, especially the MSME sector and creative communities in the regions.

“I hope that this Indonesia Travel Pack will not only provide an experience for tourists, but also become a space for local stalls, MSMEs and creative communities in various regions to have the same stage in introducing the best Indonesian products,” Irene affirmed.

Meanwhile, Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia Aida S. Budiman said that strengthening payment connectivity between countries is the main key to encouraging efficient mobility of foreign tourists and increasing the economic turnover of the tourism sector.

“How we make it easier for foreign tourists to come to Indonesia, carry out transactions, and increase their economic activities is an important part of digital transformation. Through QRIS between countries and the Indonesia Travel Pack, we present a payment system that is fast, easy, cheap, safe and reliable,” said Aida S. Budiman.

Apart from launching ITP 2026, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar visited the Digitalent Expo 2026 area to explore the potential of young digital talents and encourage synergy between technological innovation and the creative industry.

This event was organized by Bank Indonesia together with the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy and OJK, and supported by the Indonesian Payment Systems Association (ASPI) and the Indonesian Fintech Association (AFTECH).

Carrying the theme ‘Strengthening Synergy, Stimulating Innovation, Producing Superior Talent with Global Competitiveness for the Advancement of the National Digital Financial Economy’, this forum emphasizes cross-sector commitment in accelerating national digital transformation. [traveltext.id]
