AIRPORT CLOSED, LION AIR GROUP TEMPORARILY DELAYED FLIGHTS TO & FROM PAPUA

LION Air, Wings Air, Batik Air members of Lion Air Group stop or suspend (suspend) domestic operational services connecting to and from Papua, starting Thursday (26/3) at 00.00 CET until Thursday, (9/4) at 23.59 WIT.

Danang Mandala Prihantoro, Corporate Communications Strategic of Lion Air Group, explained that the temporary delay was in accordance with the notification from the Regional X Airport Authority Office regarding the closure of passenger flights at Papua Province Airport.

Operating domestic passenger flight services in Papua Province, Lion Air Group has an average of 35 frequencies of flights per day commuting (PP), covering the following cities: (1). Yahukimo – Nop Goliath Dekai Airport (DEX), (6). Jayawijaya –Wamena Airport (WMX).

According to Danang, Lion Air Group has provided information on flight delays on routes served by Lion Air, Batik Air and Wings Air to all prospective passengers in accordance with the latest developments.

Danang added, Lion Air Group facilitates all prospective passengers who have purchased tickets (issued ticket) with a refund (refund) according to applicable regulations.
