SWISS-BELHOTEL INTERNATIONAL OPENS A NEW HOTEL IN BIAK, PAPUA

SWISS-Belhotel International recently announced the opening of Swiss-Belhotel Cendrawasih in Biak, Papua. The first 4-star hotel from this international hotel chain has opened its doors for business people and travelers to Biak since October 1, 2021.

According to Emmanuel Guillard, Senior Vice President of Operations and Development for Indonesia, said the hotel is located on Jl. Imam Bonjol No. 46, Biak, right next to Hadi’s supermarket and department store – which is the largest shopping center on the island.

“Swiss-Belhotel Cendrawasih, Biak is located in the city center, close to important transportation options, such as Frans Kaisipo International Airport (less than 4 km) and the port of Biak (less than 2 km). This hotel provides convenience for travelers who like to stay close to the city center, local attractions, shopping centers, and tourist attractions, as well as easy access to business and government districts for business travelers,” he said.

He explained, Swiss-Belhotel International is proud to be chosen as the operator to manage the first international hotel in Biak Island, Papua. Swiss-Belhotel International currently operates 74 hotels in Indonesia, and Swiss-Belhotel Cendrawasih, Biak is our 5th hotel in the Papua region, after Jayapura, Manokwari, Merauke and Sorong.

“The addition of this new hotel will strengthen Swiss-Belhotel International’s presence in Eastern Indonesia and our overall portfolio in the country.
