INDONESIA’S Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy appreciates the creative economy Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Luna Guitarworks which produces original Indonesian guitars and receives many positive responses not only on a national scale but also internationally.
Luna Guitarworks which has been promoting original Indonesian guitars to the international world. This is proof that original Indonesian products have quality that can compete internationally.
According to the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno during a hybrid weekly press briefing, Monday (11/28), said I give my greatest appreciation to Luna Guitarworks for promoting authentic Indonesian guitar boutiques to the international world through the unique guitar designs made.
“Hopefully what Luna Guitarworks has done can inspire other creative entrepreneurs to continue working to advance the creative economy in Indonesia,” said Sandiaga Uno.
The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will continue to support and promote various products of the country’s creative economy. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will continue to encourage creative economy actors to move up a class by utilizing technology and encourage promotions by facilitating creative economy products to participate in international events.
“In addition, creative economy actors usually experience obstacles in licensing, as well as capital. We will also facilitate this,” Sandiaga noted.
Luna Guitarworks was initiated by Tatag Bintara Yudha since 2016. This business was started from his concern because at that time not many people made local original guitars in Indonesia. Guitars produced by Luna Guitarworks are custom made based on orders received and handmade. Therefore, the process takes from 2 months to 1 year.
Until now, buyers from Luna Guitarworks have varied. Starting from guitarist and bass musicians such as the Lilo KLa project, BIP guitarist, Jazz bass player Franky Sadikin, to several officials in the country such as the Minister of Cooperatives and UKM Teten Masduki, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, and Chairman of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly Bambang Soesatyo.
Other buyers came from various countries such as the United States, London, Canada, Turkey and Japan. Overseas musicians include Jon Bodan and guitarist Beyonce.
Meanwhile, the Founder of Luna Guitarworks, Tatag Bintara Yudha, appreciated the support from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy that the nation’s products are the best and have markets abroad. Indonesia does not lack resources, we have to bargain as local products. [traveltext.id]
