LAMBORGHINI URUS BECOMES TO A TWO-DOOR SUV WITH MANSORY MAKEOVER

MANSORY loves tuning the latest high-powered luxury vehicles from Europe. The company’s upgrades often add body kits and tune the engine to make more power.

Their latest creation goes beyond that, transforming the four-door Lamborghini Urus into a two-door coupe that can be driven and of course with high ground clearance. Mansory decided to convert the Urus into a two-door SUV after receiving numerous requests through its bespoke programme.

It took the aftermarket specialist a year and a half to turn the idea into reality, with the final product, the Venatus Coupe Evo C, undergoing extensive modifications to complete the conversion.

Mansory moved the Urus B-pillar back 200 millimeters (7.87 inches). The front door is the same length while retaining standard safety equipment and receiving Y-shaped pleats on the outside.

Mansory also widened the rear fenders, fitted large side intakes and new C-pillar intake garnishes. That’s on top of the car’s inherently wild body kit, which gives the SUV an aggressive front-end design, large wings, a busy diffuser, and many other design touches.

Mansory based the Venatus Coupe Evo C on its Venatus Evo S model. The powertrain has received no additional tweaks, with a two-door producing the same 900 horsepower (671 kilowatts) and 811 pound-feet (1,100 Newton-meters) of torque.

Mansory claims this SUV can reach 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in 2.9 seconds. It could reach a top speed of 200 mph (323 km/h), which was 10 km/h more than the stock model.

On the inside of the Lamborghini, Mansory offers a wide range of customization options. This example features a teal cabin, white stitching, and black trim. The tuner also added a folding mechanism to the front seats so passengers can access the two rear seats.

Turning the Urus into a two-door SUV defeats the purpose of the vehicle, but Mansory wouldn’t build it if there wasn’t a demand for it. This is also not a one-off, as aftermarket specialists plan to manufacture 8 Venatus Coupe Evo C SUVs.

Mansory did not provide a price for the Urus convertible, but we doubt it will be cheap with the donor Urus, which starts at nearly US$230,000 or IDR3.56 billion for the US market. [sources/photo special]
