RAFTING tourism as a sign of the opening of the latest superior potential in Selamanik Tourism Village, Cipaku District, Ciamis Regency, West Java. The village, which is included in the 75 best tourist villages in the 2023 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI), has the potential for rafting tourism on the Cimuntur River with stunning natural scenery.

“Selamanik Tourism Village is also blessed with very fertile land because it is located at the foot of Mount Sawal and surrounded by hills. This potential is then utilized by the village community to develop agro-tourism as another tourist attraction,” he said.
It is said, tourists can directly participate when the harvest arrives. Starting from harvesting large shallots, cucumbers, purple eggplants, to beans. What is most special about Selamanik Tourism Village is the ability of its people to farm in a very productive concept and packaged into tour packages.
“The main concern is related to homestays. Of the 70 homestays in Selamanik Tourism Village, only three are ready to be used and offered to tourists. Therefore, I assigned the Director of Destination Management at the Ministry of Tourism, Indra Ni Tua, to work with PT Oyo Rooms Indonesia to provide assistance so that the homestays can be filled.
