“Next year we are targeting to have an event every month as a trigger to bring in tourists. This is already greater than the number of visits in 2019. Meanwhile, in 2024 we will focus on events as well as increasing various tourism products. The number of foreign tourists visiting Labuan Bajo has reached 270 thousand. We are also targeting direct flights from Australia and Singapore, including handling the low season in Labuan Bajo,” she said.

Likewise, said Shana, next year BPOLBF will have partners in Parapuar to improve facilities, attractions and accommodation so that we continue to prepare all the infrastructure.

“Even though Parapuar is not yet connected to State Electricity Company (PLN), we use independent solar panels. This can also be an example of green tourism and creative economy in Labuan Bajo,” she concluded. [traveltext.id]
