SUPER AIR JET FLIGHTS AT SOEKARNO-HATTA AIRPORT RELOCATION TO TERMINAL 1

LION Air Group’s domestic flight service, Super Air Jet at Soekarno-Hatta Airport will move to Terminal 1. According to Lion Air Group’s Corporate Communication Strategic Danang Mandala Prihantoro, said the relocation of Super Air Jet services is still under discussion. Several things including the technicalities of the relocation are still being considered by Lion Group.

“This relocation is still under discussion because the technicalities and other things need to be considered, related to the relocation of the terminal,” said Danang when met after the meeting and signing ceremony of Batam Aero Technic-Lion Group and Sanad, Thursday (02/27), 2025.

Danang explained that other domestic flights of Lion Group had already moved to Terminal 1 CGK in December 2024. For example, Lion Air’s domestic flights have been moved from Terminal 2E to 1A since December 14, 2025.

Earlier, the President Director of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia or InJourney Airports, Faik Fahmi, said that all low-cost airline flights would be moved to Terminal 1 CGK.

These LCC airlines include Citilink, AirAsia Indonesia, and Lion Air and its subsidiary Super Air Jet. The move was made to reduce passenger congestion at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Faik explained that Terminal 1 is currently undergoing revitalization and will be renovated with a more attractive appearance.

“The revitalization and beautification project has reached 30% progress, and we are aiming to complete it in August 2025. After that, Terminal 1 will look different than before,” Faik recently concluded. [sources/photo special]
