HOTEL El Capitan in Merced, California, United States, welcomes the 2021 Christmas holidays and the 2022 new year eve by offering rooms themed with Nutcracker characters.
Reporting from Travel+Leisure, said this hotel was once a train depot for passengers traveling to Yosemite National Park. Today, the 114-room Hyatt property has been transformed into a wonderland to appreciate the peanut farm at Merced.
This hotel makes the Nuttiest Holiday Suite Ever. The room contains various Nutcracker decorations as well as game sets with the same theme. In addition, guests can also eat almonds, pistachios and walnuts that come from local farms.
Guests can sleep on pillows decorated with Nutcrackers, then enjoy a variety of Nutcracker-themed decorations and toys of all shapes, sizes and styles.
“For thousands of years, nuts have been a symbol of good luck distributed during the winter holidays,” said El Capitan Managing Director Robin Donovan, quoted by Travel + Leisure.
He continued, we want to have fun and spread joy with holiday celebrations and respect for the rich local farms. For tourists who want to stay in a Nutcracker-themed room, they must spend starting from US$219 or around IDR3.1 million per night.
