THE MINISTRY of Tourism and Creative Economy fully supports the implementation of ArtMoments Jakarta 2023 as an effort to revive the economy and create jobs in the creative economy sector.
According to Sandiaga Uno, ArtMoments is one of the largest and most interesting art exhibition events in Indonesia. ArtMoments Jakarta really supports our creative economy ecosystem. The event, entitled ‘Embrace Moments’: Continually Art, will be held at the Grand Ballroom of the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel on 18-20 August 2023 by presenting works from 25 galleries from eight countries.
“Last year, transactions I heard that could reach IDR49 billion and we hope that later the transaction value will be spectacular,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sendy Widjaja, Director and Co-Founder of ArtMoments Jakarta, added that ArtMoments, which is being held for the sixth time, is targeting a total transaction of IDR60 billion. In addition, for this year we are targeting (this event was attended) 23 thousand visitors.
“This activity can be used to attract tourists. In addition, this activity is also fully supported by the Ministry of Tourism because art is one of the 17 sub-sectors of the creative economy. It is hoped that more visitors will come to ArtMoments,” he concluded. [traveltext.id]
