UNTIL 2019, Gopay and Gofood were able to become Gojek’s main suppliers in revenue. It was stated that Gopay reached a transaction of US$6.3 billion.
According to GoPay’s Head of Corporate Communications Winny Triswandhani explained, seeing the achievements that Gopay had achieved in 2019 certainly showed quite impressive results.
That is because the increase in digital transactions among the people makes Gopay increasingly innovating and making it successful, it is because people place Gopay as the most used electronic money in Indonesia (Daily Social Fintech Report 2019).
“The growth is none other than the number of merchants who have collaborated with Gopay. At present there are more than 420,000 Gopay business partners throughout Indonesia. Collaboration with various parties is our strategy for all levels of Indonesian society to freely make non-cash transactions more easily,” she said.
