LION AIR GROUP OFFERS DISCOUNTED TICKETS OF UP 60% TO 3 DESTINATIONS

LION AIR Group now offers discounts of up to 60% for three destinations namely flying to and from Batam, Manado and Denpasar. This was done to boost the sluggish aviation business, especially for tourist destinations as a result of the corona virus from Wuhan China, which is endemic in almost all countries.

According to Lion Air Danang Mandala’s Corporate Communications Strategic revealed, for travel routes from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to Sam Ratulangi International Airport, Manado, discounts of up to 50% have been given.

“Then, for departures from Soekaro-Hatta Airport to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, discounts of up to 60% are given. “Regarding the demand for cheap tickets in these three destinations, Lion Air has sold the lowest prices to these three destinations,” Danang said.

He added, the same amount of discount was also given for the route from Soekarno-Hatta Airport to Hang Nadim International Airport, Batam. Ticket promotion discounts have also been made for other destinations outside the three government-directed destinations.

According to Danang, this must be done because this month has entered the phase of lonely passengers (low season). Cheap tickets, hope Danang, can stimulate people to plan travel activities. In addition, there is a high demand to reduce domestic fares with the current conditions that are less conducive to international travel.

Previously, the Ministry of Transportation discussed together with a number of national airlines such as Garuda Indonesia Indonesia and Lion Air to sell cheaper plane ticket fares in the destination areas affected by Chinese tourist visits.

As a result, three destinations affected by Chinese tourist visits, namely North Sulawesi, Riau Islands and Bali, have decreased tourist arrivals from China due to flight restriction policies. [kontan.co.id]
