ALL ANGKASA PURA II AIRPORTS CONTINUE TO OPERATE NORMALLY

ALL PT Angkasa Pura II (AP II) airports continue to operate according to normal operating hours. However, this company is always on full alert to fight and overcome the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19).

According to AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin in his press release said AP II manages 19 airports located in Java, Sumatra and Kalimantan. The airports under AP II are on full alert serving a variety of flights including cargo transportation, medical aid and medical equipment, medical treatment (medical evacuation) and transport of infection substance COVID-19 samples.

“All AP II personnel at 19 airports are ready to support COVID-19 prevention efforts. In addition to civil aviation, AP II airports are on full alert in anticipation of medical evacuation and airlines carrying COVID-19 infection substance samples. AP II Airport is also a door for airlines carrying logistics for an area,” Awaluddin said.

He added, currently, 19 airports are fully operational by adjusting operational patterns to remain optimal in maintaining the health aspects of aircraft passengers, airport visitors and airport workers. AP II Parties continues to prioritize aspects of safety, security, service and comply with every regulation.

Every personnel on duty at the airport is equipped with procedures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Its handling protocols in the area and public transportation in accordance with those set by the government, namely: (1). Ensure that all public areas and public transportation are clean. (2). Body temperature detection, (3). Provide isolation space, (4). Campaign for hand washing as often as possible, (5). Updating information about COVID-19 regularly, (6). Adjust operational patterns, (7). Perform procedures for filling the Health Alert Card (Health Alert Card/HAC), (8). Socializing prevention methods on COVID-19, (9).
