MANY foreign tourists are starting to visit Bali along with the opening of international flights and the increasing number of COVID-19 cases. Even though the COVID-19 case is starting to decline, the Bali provincial government continues to implement standard health protocols to maintain the safety and comfort of tourists while in Bali.
According to the Head of the Bali Tourism Office, Tjok Bagus Pemayun, explaining that Bali tourist destinations, including hotels in Bali, continue to carry out health protocols.
“Hotels and destinations continue to implement health protocols, so that visitors are comfortable and safe while at the destination or hotel,” explained Tjok Bagus.
Tourists who enter Bali, it is confirmed that they have carried out complete vaccinations and booster vaccinations, screening of tourists is started when they want to fly to Bali. In addition, at each hotel, visitors are also required to scan the PeduliLindungi application to ensure the health of tourists.
Tjok Bagus hopes that tourist visits to Bali will continue to increase along with the incessant tourism promotion carried out by the government and tourism actors in Bali.
“We continue to promote with the Ministry of Tourism, including promotions through digital media. In addition, the government is also intensifying the promotion of tourist villages in Bali as a new attraction for tourists,” he said.
He explained that currently in the district many tourist villages are developing, and we continue to promote this, including tourist villages through the Tourism Village Award (ADWI) of the Ministry of Tourism.
The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bali Province noted that until April 2022, foreign tourist visits to Bali reached 58,355 people. [sources/photo special]
