TAIWAN offers tourism with the concept of “slow travel” or a relaxing and halal tourist trip in the Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area (Tri-Mountain) region to the Indonesian people.
“We see that many foreign tourists want to visit authentic tourist destinations with a slow travel concept, including Indonesia, and Tri-Mountain is the answer they are looking for,” said Taiwan’s Minister of Transport and Communications Tsao Chung-Yu, met in Jakarta, Wednesday (9/ 20), 2023.
With the “Tri-Mountain Multiple Surprise” campaign, the tourist area covering five cities and districts in Taiwan combines natural charm, culinary delights, and cultural riches that are iconic and full of surprises so that tourists can enjoy a quality travel experience.
The Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area is located in the central part of Taiwan, consisting of Lion’s Head Mountain, Lishan and Baguashan. Its area covers five cities and districts, starting from high mountains famous for their tropical fruit, to beaches rich in seafood dishes.
From nature full of singing birds and flowers to bustling and interesting street markets, it offers diverse views and culture. For Muslim travelers who intend to travel to Tri Mountain, there is no need to worry, Chung-Yu said that this tour also pays attention to Muslim tourists from the country, making it easier to travel, culinary and worship activities while traveling.
“We are focused on improving the quality of friendly tourism for Indonesian Muslim tourists. We have also understood and have passed a series of assessments and certifications by the Halal Association to provide mosques and halal culinary delights, not only halal for culinary delights but also other customs,” explained Chung- Yu.
Chung-Yu explained that in this tourist area, there are many halal-certified food outlets, there are also mosques and special places of worship for Muslim tourists.
“We also provide a special area for Muslim tourist groups, including attractions, culinary delights and accommodation,” he said.
