ARTOTEL Casa Kuningan has entered into a meaningful collaboration with MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy, a training center focused on inclusivity and empowerment of persons with special needs, to create a more inclusive environment in the hospitality sector and provide opportunities for persons with special needs to hone their skills in the hospitality industry.
According to Widhi Anugraha Resyadi, General Manager of ARTOTEL Casa Kuningan said we at ARTOTEL Casa Kuningan are very proud to partner with MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy in this internship program. We believe that inclusivity is the key to building a better and fairer hospitality industry.
“Through this program, we hope to make a positive contribution to the community and create more opportunities for people with special needs to develop and succeed in this industry,” said Widhi.
Widhi explained that ARTOTEL Casa Kuningan and MATALESOGE Hospitabablelity Academy are opening up opportunities for individuals with special needs (IBK) to hone their skills in the hospitality industry as part of the implementation of “The Art of Goodness” program, which has been implemented by ArtotelGroup since 2022.
“The development of this program was then further implemented by ARTOTEL Casa Kuningan by providing internship opportunities for two children with special needs at ARTOTEL Casa Kuningan. This training process lasted for six months where the two children were intensively guided by the professional team of ARTOTEL Casa Kuningan,” said Widhi.
Meanwhile, Tommy Hermanses, Founder/CEO of MATALESOGE Special Needs Center, added that MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy is grateful to ARTOTEL Casa Kuningan for giving people with special needs the opportunity not only to be trained but also to do internships and share hospitality experiences at ARTOTEL CASA Kuningan.
“This support will help us to continue to provide quality services and programs to our special needs trainees and develop each individual’s potential to live life to the fullest,” he said.
During the training period, Tommy continued, the two students from MATALESOGE Center were not only given an in-depth understanding of various operational aspects in the hospitality industry but were also given the experience of being directly involved in the daily operational activities of ARTOTEL Casa Kuningan, such as serving guests at La Gazette All Day Dining and managing hotel rooms.
