MINISTER of Finance, Sri Mulyani said the realization of the National Economic Recovery Program (PEN) from January to December 17, 2021 had reached IDR533.6 trillion or 71.6% of the IDR744.7 trillion ceiling.
“We see that there are only two weeks left and there is still more than IDR210 trillion that has not been spent in the PEN,” said Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani at the December 2021 edition of the Press Conference on the State Budget (APBN) online in Jakarta, Tuesday (12/21).
Her party continues to coordinate with all ministries/agencies so that expenditures in the last two weeks can be realized, even though funds from ministries/agencies that cannot be fully realized will be returned to the state budget.
In detail, the realization of the PEN program consists of the health sector, namely IDR147.44 trillion, social protection of IDR61.17 trillion, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and corporate support of IDR74.36 trillion, priority programs of IDR87.47 trillion, and business incentives of IDR63.16 trillion.
Sri Mulyani explained that the realization of the health sector had reached 68.6% of the IDR214.96 trillion allocations, which was given, among others, for use for the Hajj and Pademangan emergency hospitals, financing of drug packages for the community and thickening of implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM), as well as incentives for health workers.
Then the realization of social protection has reached 86.4% of the IDR186.64 trillion ceiling, which includes internet quota assistance, rice assistance, electricity subsidies, and pre-employment cards.
The former World Bank Managing Director added that the realization of business incentives had reached 100.5 percent of the IDR62.83 trillion allocation, which was given, among other things, for lowering the Corporate Income Tax (PPh) rate, reducing PPh 25 installments, and Value Added Tax (VAT) incentives. property.
“This is all for various tax incentives that are enjoyed by the community, starting from MSMEs, consumers, and companies,” said Sri Mulyani.
He continued that the PEN program was also provided in the form of assistance to MSMEs and corporations which had reached 45.8% of the IDR162.4 trillion ceiling, which were given, among others, for placement of bank funds and State Equity Participation (PMN).
Meanwhile, for priority programs, 74.2% of the available budget of IDR117.94 trillion has been realized, including regional loan facilities, food security, and labor-intensive ministries/agencies. [antaranews]
