LION AIR WILL FLY SOON WITHOUT TRANSIT FROM SURABAYA-KUALA LUMPUR

PREVIOUSLY, Lion Air announced that it will soon open an international flight route from central Indonesia, namely from Surabaya via Juanda International Airport in Sidoarjo, East Java (SUB) to Kuala Lumpur (KL) International Airport, Malaysia (KUL) which is served round-trip.

According to Lion Air’s Corporate Communications Strategic, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, said the upcoming scheduled flights from Lion Air are expected to provide a new option for flying from Indonesia to Kuala Lumpur after from Jakarta-Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang Banten (CGK), International Airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali (DPS) and Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra (KNO).

“In addition, we hope that it will further facilitate the mobility of guests (travelers and businessmen) directly from Indonesia to Malaysia PP,” said Danang, Tuesday (9/27).

He also said that the flight will also have a role in supporting the development of regional and state potentials for connectivity of business people, travelers (foreign tourists) and logistics of various countries that are connected from Indonesia. Optimistic, strengthening the competitiveness of global trade, business, and tourism potentials that are faster and more precise.

“Then also certainly contribute as an effort to accelerate regional economic recovery (both countries) in the Southeast Asia region in an effort to help move the trade, tourism and other sectors,” he remarked.

Danang added that the flight to Malaysia ‘from central Indonesia’ provides convenience because it is considered faster as needed.

“Yes, of course, this flight will be based on the needs of people from various cities in Indonesia, starting from domestic tourists and business people from Malang, Yogyakarta, Solo, Semarang, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin and other cities by stopping (transit) first at Juanda International Airport,” he concluded.
