TO CELEBRATE Halloween this year, Vasaka Hotel Jakarta collaborated with the MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy to host a fun-filled event themed “Spooky Cupcake Halloween Party,” which took place at the Vasaka Lobby Lounge on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

“Where we collaborated with MATALESOGE HospitABLElity Academy to show our concern for individuals with needs, specifically by making our hotel chain a friendly hotel for Individuals with Special Needs, and also providing a place for them to hone their skills and social skills,” she said.

Nancy explained that with the series of activities carried out with MATALESOGE, we hope to provide inspiration to the community so that they can live side by side with individuals with special needs, as well as providing equal opportunities to work and achieve. “So, we just want to say that for the special needs especially from MATALESOGE you are not walk alone, we just want Vasaka Hotel Jakarta as your second home”.

“We hope this collaborative event, especially for Vasaka Hotel Jakarta, will serve as a reminder and inspiration for all of us, especially for our hotel, about the meaning of sincerity, passion, and courage to grow together. We are very fortunate to be able to learn and share moments with our friends from the MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy,” Ms. Nancy Fenyapwain affirmed.

However, when asked about future plans, she immediately answered in the future, we want Vasaka Hotel Jakarta to be an example for other hotels to empower people with special needs to work in hotels. For us, people with special needs have basic rights, human rights, to learn and work just like normal people.

She also added that Vasaka Hotel Jakarta is in the completing a program related to inclusivity and activities. In the future then in 2027, they will participate in disability awareness training, and then interacting with guests are expected to meet activity standards for comfortable and accessible use.
