THE low-cost airline AirAsia Indonesia is implementing online food bookings to ensure hygiene standards in the new normal times.
According to Director of AirAsia Indonesia Veranita Yosephine Sinaga in a statement in Jakarta said the aviation industry is now required to be able to adapt to the new normalcy situation. We make important adjustments by only allowing online food and beverage reservations before flight time and orders will be served at the time of flight.
“Guests can simply order the desired flight food and drinks on airasia.com or the AirAsia mobile app through My Purchases or My Bookings at least 24 hours before flight time,” Veranita Yosephine said.
Veranita explained this application was in line with the latest safety protocols prevailing in the country to enable guests to continue to enjoy a culinary experience at an altitude of 30,000 feet with safe and secure procedures.
“We always ensure that all food is produced and packaged to the highest hygienic standards and follows stringent food safety requirements,” Veranita added.
