CITILINK APPRECIATES PASSENGER COMPLIANCE WITH TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS

MINISTRY of Transportation released the latest circular for all modes of transportation following the issuance of the Circular for Handling COVID-19 Number 1 of 2021 concerning Travel Provisions for Domestic People During the COVID-19 Pandemic, drawn on January 9, 2021. The regulation is valid for the next 14 days until January 25 2021.

In response to this, Citilink is committed to fully supporting and complying with the provisions of travel using air transportation as stated in the Circular of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for Implementing Domestic People Travel with Air Transportation during COVID-19 which is valid from 9 to 25 January 2021

According to President Director of Citilink Juliandra said for people who will travel using air transportation, Citilink urges to always pay attention to the provisions of the travel documents needed for the destination area and to continue to implement and adhere to strict health protocols through 3M (wearing masks, washing hands and keeping your distance) while in the area. the airport area and while on the plane.

“In addition, for passengers who are about to fly to Bali, passengers are required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test, the sample taken within a maximum period of 2 x 24 hours or a negative result of the rapid antigen test, the sample taken within a maximum period of 1 x 24. hours before departure,” he said.

Juliandra explained that as for passengers who will take a flight other than to Bali, passengers are required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test whose sample is taken within a maximum period of 3 x 24 hours or a negative result of the antigen rapid test whose sample is taken within a maximum period of 2 x 24 hours before departure.

“Passengers are also not allowed to speak in one direction or two ways over the phone or in person throughout the trip and are not allowed to eat and drink during the trip which is less than 2 (two) hours, with the exception of individuals who are obliged to consume medicines for treatment if failure to do so may endanger the safety and health of the person,” he noted.

Juliandra also added that Citilink has provided 3 rows of rear seats which will be used as a quarantine area for passengers who have indicated symptoms of COVID-19 during the flight, this is a follow-up to Citilink as stipulated in letter of circular Ministry of Transportation NO. 3/2021.
