HARRIS SUITES PURI MANSION WILL PRESENT FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

ONE of the brand pillars of HARRIS Hotels is photography. It is a common activity for HARRIS Hotels to host a photography event. Especially during a HARRIS opening, it is a must to have a photography competition to enliven the hotel’s opening period.

According to Evi Rumondang, Director of Marketing & Branding of HARRIS Suites Puri Mansion said hotel together with Canon Indonesia, on 31 July 2021 will host a Food Photography Workshop. This workshop is held considering many people nowadays are interested in photography, especially food photography.

“With so many new trends in the culinary industry, people love to take pictures of the beautifully plated dishes, unique desserts or anything else that is adorable. But the most important objective of this activity is to help the small local food vendors or UMKM that are arising lately due to the pandemic,” she said.

Canon Indonesia has invited WS. Pramono, a professional photographer to be the tutor of the workshop. He is very well known in the photography industry in Indonesia. His works are in portraiture, advertising and product photography. He has numerous clients in food and beverage industries and major product brands.

“The initiative of this food photography workshop is to help the food photography enthusiasts and the rising food vendors in taking better food pictures. Good and appealing food photos will definitely attract more customers. Looking at WS Pramono’s experience, for sure we will learn a lot, and help create better food photos,” Evi Rumondang undelined.

She also added that participants will learn the basics of food photography, camera setting and photo editing during the workshop. To make the workshop more challenging, there will be a small competition among the participants.

The winners, Evi continued that will get exciting prizes from Canon Indonesia, HARRIS Suites Puri Mansion and sponsors from Photo Ready, an online store providing food photography equipment. The fee of the workshop is IDR200,000 including lunch and morning coffee break.

“During the workshop, the health protocol will be strictly applied. Maximum participant to enter is 15 people. Workshop room is spacious and airy with good air circulation. Tables and chairs will be spread accordingly and the room definitely will be disinfected before and after,” she concluded. [traveltext.id]
